Harmon: Willie Robertson is the CEO of “Duck Commander” which was founded in 1972 but has grown into a multi-million dollar business specializing in the manufacture of a popular hunting related products such as duck decoys, duck calls, cooking DVDs and sports clothing. And now with the hottest show on TV, “Duck Dynasty”, this family is bringing God and nature back to America in a big way. I’d like to share with you a speech Willie did at Harding University ( a Christian University) where he was a student. Bet you didn’t know he spent time in the ministry. Maybe we should gather up all of our youth and expose them to a world filled with Bible principles and belief in Jesus Christ where they could experience a feeling of oneness with God and nature. Let them ride a horse, feed a cow, camp out, go fishing and NO electronics. I bet that would jolt some of them back into reality in a wholesome way!
I think we have to go back pick up where we left off with shows like the Waltons, The Brady Bunch, and Little House On The Prairie. A time when communication was real between two people or more – not a text!
