Ben Carson Values Voter Summit 2013 FULL SPEECH
HD NEWS – Les Grossman – Published October 11, 2013
Dr. Ben Carson, fresh off signing a news contributor contract with Fox News, told the crowd that Obamacare is “the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery.”
This video is really all about moral values and how our nation has become dependent on welfare, food stamps, etc. It emphasizes that the real issue of Obamacare is not healthcare – it is about control. We encourage you to listen to Dr. Ben Carson’s full speech at the Values Voter Summit 2013. It may seem rather harsh to those that don’t want to improve their standard of living but to those that love our county, they are words of wisdom. His impression of Obamacare is that it is the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery.
I agree with Dr. Carson that our healthcare should be controlled by us and not our government. He tells about his life and the difficulties he faced growing up in a single parent home with no father. He gives some honest and priceless advice on areas such as marriage, divorce, healthcare, abortion and education. He believes that instead of offering welfare to the entire world, we need to empower these unfortunate people to become better and more responsible citizens. Keeping people in a dependent condition only weakens our country rather than strengthen it.
Health costs are spiraling upward instead of decreasing. Even the average family with private healthcare have seen a 2,500 increase in their own healthcare costs. And now the word is to keep Obamacare going, American tax payers are going to have to cough up 2 billion dollars more.
We’re going to see more lay offs and more employers dumping workers simply because they cannot afford the so-called Obamacare. With employers cutting hours to keep from paying penalties, this is going to end up being a no win situation for the employees thus, employees and their families will suffer in the long run. And this is putting people back to work?
Will Obamacare become the law of the land? Please share with us your feelings on what steps you think America needs to take to solve the healthcare problem.
