Contributor B Harmon: If you are a pale teenager under the age of 18 and live in Lincoln, Illinois, you will no longer to able to tan. Who is to say that tanning rays are as damaging to the skin’s surface than the sun. My personal opinion is that there is nothing that can compare with G-d’s natural healing with Vitamin D for over all health benefits. Best to do it in moderation and for the young – it appears they will have to wait awhile. Might be a good thing!
And for the big one in Colorado. Adults 21 years and older will be able to purchase marijuana for recreational use from a state licensed retail store. We’ve managed to get by all this time without it so why now? I could accept it more if it were being prescribed by an MD for health reasons, i.e. pain.

Sometimes marijuana use can also produce anxiety, fear, distrust, or panic. Do you agree with this new law?
I like Oregon’s new law prohibiting smoking in motor vehicles when children are present. How about not at all! It is just too dangerous to say the least. Not to mention being closed up in a tight space with smoke, smoking in the car can cause a wreck, burn the interior or burn you!
The new law in Oregon I don’t favor is hospitals offering new mothers their own placenta to take home and ingest after giving birth. Come on, this is a little too much for my stomach. It may have health benefits but almost seems cannibalistic. What do you think?
