Dr.Michael Brown shares how the pendulum has swung to the other extreme to something called “Hyper-grace.” True grace is precious, but “Hyper-grace”is calling many to fall away from G-d.
Hyper-grace is G-d’s grace distorted or rather enemies of the flock who have snuck in and made it their mission to sidetrack Christians. A very clever trick of the evil one.
FALSE TEACHERS SLIP IN
Jude 3-4: “Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people. For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.”
A good example is false teachers/religious leaders justify what G-d has condemned such as sexuality outside of marriage and homosexuality. Good people who call themselves Christians being told that the homosexual lifestyle is acceptable and that they should embrace homosexual marriage. The twisting and distorting of the word GRACE is giving the world a license to sin. Forget the Old Testament and the Law, no need to repent, no need to confess.
Boys with two fathers or mothers and girls with two fathers or mothers and this is living a Christian life? The most sacred union on the planet earth is now no longer sacred. Hyper-grace teaches Christianity at a different level than what G-d designed. It is the great falling away the Bible prepared us for that glorifies man and puts Jesus on the back burner so to say.
I agree with Phil Robertson on “Duck Dynasty” and his comments on homosexuality saying that “Everything is blurred on what’s right and what’s wrong. Sin becomes fine.” In other words, man is crucifying the gospel and denying the deity of Jesus Christ and doing his own thing.
Hyper-grace teachers today go so far as to ridicule those who insist on keeping G-d’s Commandments, and degrade those who rightly see holiness as the distinguishing mark of the Christian. Hyper-grace is the end time deception of which the Bible refers to.
DEPARTING FROM THE TRUTH
2 Thessalonians 2:1-10 (NKJV): 1 Now, brethren, concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our gathering together to Him, we ask you, 2 not to be soon shaken in mind or troubled, either by spirit or by word or by letter, as if from us, as though the day of Christ had come. 3 Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, 4 who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called G-d or that is worshiped, so that he sits as G-d in the temple of G-d, showing himself that he is God. 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. 9 The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, 10 and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
ITS ALL ABOUT LOVING HIM
God wants you to be real with Him and to not be afraid to confess your sins. He want you to love yourself not as the world loves you but as He loves you in total acceptance of all that you are. All that He asks is for you to love Him back as much as He has first loved you. His will is for you to have a vision of eternity that He has prepared for those that love Him. Call it whatever you will – He loved you when you were first in the womb. He does not want you to be misled – lead astray by those that profess to know Him but do not love Him enough to live their lives for Him. That is all he is asking of you…..
