The Greats of the Reformist of the Refomation Period of the 14th – 18th Century tag the Pope as the Antichrist – until Martin Luther from scripture saw this, he could not go against the Holy See -burning the Papal Bull. They were Historism School. The Futurist School theory was for the Counter-Reformation to hide the Antichrist. They have suceeded – the Lady in Purple and Scarlet with her harlots.
