Pet Therapy Helps Heal Veterans With PTSD

America’s Soldiers – How thankful we are for you!

And G-d said, “let there be dogs, and that was good!.”

Blade, was a Corpsman (combat medic) in the Marines is suffering from PTSD (Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder). Many soldiers come home feel they are still in the war zone. Many cannot sleep more than an arm’s length from their weapon reliving the horrors of the battlefield. No amount of training can prepare someone seeing their friend blown up or for being forced to kill another human being. Continued thoughts of aggression and anger rob them of their quality of life, affecting their family and loved ones.

The video below proves that animals are ministering spirits sent her to protect and love G-d’s children.  They have saved countless lives and healed many a wounded heart.  I hope you enjoy the following video.  It is comforting that G-d doesn’t expect us to go it alone.  And now, for Blade’s story:

Watching this video has given me a renewed respect for Pit Bulls.  After researching pet therapy organizations, I found that many of the most obedient dogs (after rehabilitation) have a Pit Bull mix in them.  Thanks Blade for sharing your story.

What is your impression of this video?  Does this give you more respect for the Pit Bull?

(Job 12:7-10 KJV) “But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.”
