More People have Died in the name of one’s Religious Belief in God than any other Cause!

In Christianity, those that believe in Jesus Christ in combination with God actually have been discerned to provide over 260 (some say over 4,000, others that this has grown to over 30,000) denominational beliefs that hold to differences that define their organization. Even in the major three defining groups though, Christian, Jew, and Muslim or Islamic, they claim Abraham as being the point of origin and the blessings that have been claimed. Most modern Christian organizations are classified as Protestants and have dates of origination starting in the 15th Century with the greatest number in the 19th and the 20th Century. The label Protestant meant protestors. Of what …? The protestors of the Catholic Church.

The history of the church fathers is horrendous. Constantine that conquered Rome in 315 A.D. is interesting. The global expansion of Catholic Church through the power of Rome and/or the Vatican is overwhelming. The Christian Crusades of 1099 is only one example. The battles of Muhammad in the 6th Century and the growth or development in his life that generated the Koran is astounding. It is fair to say that it is common knowledge to say that more people have died in the history of the world in the name of one’s religious belief in God than any other cause. This is startling. I wonder if all have purity in their belief; how God finds favor to choose the winner.
